Very capable machine, need to spend a little bit of time to dial it . The max water flow rate is 7g/s which is very nice. The basket is best for 20g bean. Set the opv to medium/low. Make sure dry everything after use. Very nice espresso shot similar to my e61 machine.

You always need external hot water and thorough preheating, the grind must be precise, and you may need to adjust the pressure valve to reach about 9 bar. Small mistakes can spoil the shot, so the first cups can be frustrating.
Pros: portable 58 mm format, pressure gauge, steeping and direct modes, rechargeable battery.
Cons: no built in water heating, steep learning curve, no clear default recipe.
Suggestions: add built in heating with keep warm, include a fixed 9 bar preset with an option for manual control, simplify the interface, and provide beginner friendly presets.
